Freedom Fighters!

Freedom Fighters, born so young.
Lion hearts, from day one.
Playing with their plastic guns,
banishing evil from night to sun.

Freedom Fighters grow to men
they train for years,
they learn to win.
All across
the world they go,
they do it proudly,
they do what their told.

Freedom Fighters, suicide bombers.
War has changed, enemies without honor,
satan's coming you better look around,
he wants to trick you,
he wants you to bow down.
Our Freedom Fighters
stand the ground,
in midst of the enemy,
extremists all around!

Women subdued,
no rights, no views.
Hate is preached!
Swords unleashed!
Freedom mourns.
Like old prophets warn.

Freedom fighters hold on strong!
In your heads, sing our songs.
The anthems of red, white, and blue!
Songs of your mother and father too.

Freedom fighters hope does draw near,
for the seventh trump ALL WILL HEAR!

Freedom Fighters brave and TRUE!
Freedom Fighters we salute YOU!
Freedom Fighters I want you to know,
AMERICA TRULY LOVES YOU SO!

Primal Battles

Jedi flashes
light saber clashes!

Dark sith lords
practice evil lore.

Primal battles through the stars
Raging through time a far.

Oh NO, get out of the stars..
NEW York scene, "There is War!"

Magneto plotting evil again,
twisted lies, wicked spin.
Nasty brotherhood, up to no good.
Standing now where good people stood.

Prejudice flows all over again,
Blinded eyes controlled by sin.

You judge me! I judge YOU!
You're a Mutant! You're a Fool!

X-men challenge,
fight best they can.
NO success,
if not for...

THE AMAZING SPIDER MAN!

Now Mulder and Scully on the case,
looking for clues, to prove alien race.

Doesn't anyone see?
Magneto and brotherhood,
aliens they could be.

Mulder stands scratching his hair..
Always knowing "The Truth Is Out There"

This was yet another poem contest with 10 prompts
all different science fiction and super hero themes.
Instead of just one I chose as many as I could.
Last Two Standing...

Man's final sunset..
Every man is gone
last of our species,
eyes upon the sun.
Wondering what happened,
wondering what went wrong.

Now they stare,
hands gripped tight,
longing for,
earth's final night.
With no men,
on the earth
there is no hope,
no second verse...

So beautiful, these two they are,
but without seed, life wont go far.

All the wars! All the pain!
All the burning oil sin!
Mother bombs! Unholy nukes!
Destroyed our homes!
Air makes us puke!

Earth's last beauty, stands ashamed
looking, staring at the sun...
Wondering... Wondering...
What went wrong?

The Sands Of Time

Where does time slip but through our mind,
painful reflections from life's mirrors unkind.
Viewing deceptions from our eyes unclear.
Grasping one's youth, but a future we fear.

The sand drops evenly, not faster nor slower.
Is the sand more beautiful in the upper or lower?
The creases and lines we grow to despise.
Forgetting life's wrinkles set in on the wise.

Beauty lies not within the sands of time,
nor is she seen in one's youthful prime.
For the sands drop on and midnight will chime.
Our beauty will be found in a passionate climb.

A dream it may be

A fantasy possibly, an obscure dream.
Reality elusive to me it would seem.
Pushing all in, playing the cards I hold.
Just chasing a rainbow, I have been told.
A dream it may be, a mere fantasy,
but it is my own dream for me to see.
If I follow this dream, and completely believe.
A dream may come true, a new reality I weave.

Dancing In The Rain

I like a good storm,
I love summer rain.
It can feel so warm,
it washes away pain.
When emotions swarm,
my mind begins to drain.
I hide away my tears,
while dancing in the rain.
