The greatest athlete of all time. Forged of iron, strength, and grime. A rocket arm firing countless bombs. Silencing thousands, going deep and long. His name is endurance, power, and smart. A great turf warrior, with Hercules' heart. Personify this sport as one entity, it's this man who represents so perfectly. Let me explain, his two bowls and one ring don't show the whole story, don't say everything. My hero is more than just bowls and rings. Bowls are for kitchens and rappers wear bling. I'm talking about stuff that can't be seen. Dedication, commitment, laying out for the team. Battering his body, violent dreams! Never ending sacks in his mind unseen! Audibles and plays stuck in his brain. Nagging injuries, piercing pain! Running, fleeing from scary D trains. Scrambling, evading chaos insane! Reading the coverage, hard count on three, Look for the nickel, where's the blitz gonna be? Pulling off wins on the edge of a razor, threading needles with a pigskin laser! Enduring records, a legend of his art. He stands tall, countless others on carts. Hall of fame king will be his name. Unbreakable soldier of the game! Gridiron gladiator hold your head tall, you will always be amazing with a football! Plaques and monuments surely we will carve, for the Greatest Athlete of all... his name is Brett Favre! The Greatest Athlete |

| To Brett, Simply astonishing! Legendary, thats all I can say. |

| This is my Tumwater high school football picture. I played for the Greatest AA HS football team in the state of Washington. (Anyone who wants to argue this, you are going to have to show me stats to prove otherwise.) My Senior year we were 13-0 Undefeated 1989 State Champs. That season, I even tackled eventual pro. football player Mark Bruener, and we held him to just seven yards, the whole game! |
